She was a little skeptical at first but liked it a lot. I hope you like today's recipe and prepare it with pleasure. I wish you a day as tasty as possible and good appetite!


For fish:

  • 600 gr. - pangasius fillet (trout, cod or any other type of white fish)
  • 150 gr. - white flour (for dough)
  • 250 ml. - beer or mineral water
  • 100 gr. - white flour (for rolling fish)
  • Grated lemon peel
  • Salt and pepper
  • 0.7 l. - sunflower oil

For potatoes:

  • 1 kg. - potatoes (peel and wash well)
  • Illi & # 8211 chilli pepper powder (sweet)
  • ½ & # 8211 granulated garlic
  • 3-4 tablespoons - olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper

For the sauce:

  • 125 ml. - natural yogurt (or Greek)
  • 1 tablespoon - capers (washed)
  • 3-4 pickled cucumbers
  • 6-7 dill threads
  • 1 tablespoon - lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon - olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper

Method of preparation:

  • First of all cut the potatoes into sticks the size of a finger. Then dab the potato sticks with a paper towel to get rid of excess water.
  • Put the potatoes in a bowl, pour over the oil, mix well and season with granulated garlic, chilli pepper powder, salt, pepper and mix everything together again. Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking sheet. Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven at 190 degrees C for 35-40 minutes or until nicely browned.
  • In the meantime, take care of the fish: Put the flour in a bowl, pour beer or mineral water on top, season with salt, pepper and mix well with a whisk until you have lumps.
  • Take another bowl and pour 100 grams of flour into it, grate the lemon zest on top, season with salt, pepper and mix.
  • Cut the fish into pieces about 10-12 cm long. and width of 5 cm.
  • Roll the fish in the flavored flour, then cover it with the dough prepared earlier and shake it a little to remove excess dough.
  • Fry the fish in a well-heated oil bath for 4-5 minutes on each side or until nicely browned. Then take the fish out on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: Put the natural yogurt in a bowl. Then finely chop the cornish cucumbers, capers and dill, then add them over the yogurt. Drizzle a little lemon juice on top and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything together and serve the breaded fish with this sauce and baked potatoes. Good appetite!
