I set out to make this soup from the simplest and most common vegetables, which are found everywhere and are available to anyone without flavored Chinese mushrooms or other ingredients harder to find, respecting only the flavor of slightly spicy Chinese soups with hot peppers, a little soy sauce and a tablespoon of rice vinegar (or plain) at the end. The result: excellent!

RECIPE PREPARATION Chinese vegetable soup:

Preparation: boil the carrot, onion and pods from the beginning because they have a longer cooking time. Season with salt and pepper and add a tablespoon of oil when the water boils. After a few minutes, add the zucchini and peppers and three minutes before the end of the Chinese noodles.

At the end, season with a little soy sauce, ginger powder or freshly grated and a little vinegar. Add the chopped hot peppers and cover with a lid after turning off the heat, for 2-3 minutes. It is excellent hot, slightly spicy and fragrant, perfect for a winter day. I wanted to test and present to you this simple version with ingredients at hand for anything to have another alternative to fasting soups. I wish you good appetite

Let's leave Lisbon, I hope they didn't have my luck or if they did, they like jam as a side dish. I chose this symbolic gift because they like Chinese food but they don't have much time and desire to cook, but this wonderful soup is as easy to make as it is tasty.

  • We need:
  • 1 liter of chicken or vegetable soup or soup from both
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 3-4 tablespoons of cold soup
  • 2-3 eggs (country if possible, if they are country can be 4 because they are smaller, especially now in winter)
  • light soy sauce & # 8211 2 tbsp
  • 1 cm of fresh ginger root, cut into rounds
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 anise star (optional, I don't use it much because we haven't become friends yet, maybe if I go out with anise for a beer I'll change my mind)
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 3 sprigs of green onion

We have them all, what do we do with them? Take a saucepan, put the soup in it, bring it to the boil and add the anise, garlic cloves and sliced ​​ginger root. Turn the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat the eggs well, you don't need the rubber stick like in the militia, just a fork, with half a teaspoon of starch and a pinch of salt. We also take care of the spoon of starch announced when necessary, we dissolve it in 3-4 tablespoons of cold soup if we have more or less cold water. The 15 minutes have passed (how life goes, sir), remove the ginger and garlic, turn on the heat, pour the starch dissolved in the water in the cup, add the white pepper, the soy sauce, let it boil for another 2-3 minutes. We take the fork with which we beat the eggs and pour them between the teeth of the fork, so that they fall into the soup. As we pour them on the eggs, we mix them so that they spread all over the soup table (it is clear that eggs have karma with a fork, they meet too much). Leave it on the fire until it hardens & # 8220 omelet & # 8221 (2-3 minutes), turn off the heat, add the green onion cut long and wide, put it in bowls, put in the soup a few drops of sesame oil chili oil because I like it hot) and we start eating, it's good hot (how much each one bears hot).

If I look at the joining of the Austrian strudel and Chinese cabbage, I'd say this title is at least bizarre. But the excellent vegetable pie that follows has nothing to worry about: it's simple and tasty fire. In addition to being very versatile, in the sense that it can appear on the table both as an appetizer and as a delicious excuse for a glass of wine (or more), the basque can be served on almost any occasion, from a simple lunch, in family, and up to a very sophisticated dinner, with guests out of the way („with Chinese cabbage, you hear! ”). So, being calm from this point of view, it's better to see what we need to start this strudel. fusion.

1 packet of pie sheets,
1 kg of mushrooms, preferably of several varieties,
600 g Chinese cabbage (preferable on tsai),
1 onion,
1 carrot,
1 stalk of green celery,
4 eggs,
oil,
salt and pepper.

First, the preliminary preparations: let the dough thaw, peel all the vegetables and cut them: slice the mushrooms, cabbage into thin strips, and the rest small, but from the knife.

Heat a little oil in a large saucepan. First, fry the onion, carrot and celery over high heat until they start to soften. Add the mushrooms and continue sautéing for another five minutes, add the cabbage, salt, pepper, stir, reduce the heat and continue cooking until the juice disappears almost completely.

Stir in the beaten eggs with the hot filling, possibly drained of juice (if everything is frozen before the liquid is completely reduced, that's it!). Allow the composition to cool a bit and remember to heat the oven to 200ºC.

Place half of the pie sheets (each well greased with oil) on a large sheet of paper (or use the wrapping of the sheets), spread half of the filling on the long side, roll with paper, seal the ends well and repeat with the rest. sheets & filling.

Grease the oven tray well with oil, as well as the top of the strudels and put everything in the oven. When it has browned properly (about 15 minutes) it is ready. Allow the strudels to cool (but not cool at all!) Before cutting them into slices and bringing them to the table.

Variant? Well, it is clear that Chinese cabbage could be replaced with other tender vegetables (with new cabbage, for example, to keep as close as possible to the original), just as, in order to respect the Chinese part of the recipe, we could use soy sauce, both in the composition and at the table, at the disposal of the customers, that surely someone will want an extra salt on his slice of strudel.

The wine? Sauvignon Blanc I would say, at the first shout, even though the first time I ate this strudel I drank a glass of Fetească Regală. And it went very well!

Spring packets with vegetables are ideal for fasting and beyond. They can be served as a snack between meals, but also as an aperitif at one of the main meals of the day. Where else can you say that they are easy to prepare and to everyone's taste?

Preparation time: 1 hour and a half

Ingredient:

For the dough:

  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 ¼ cup of water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons oil.

For the filling:

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon coriander
  • a pinch of salt and pepper
  • ½ cup finely chopped green onions
  • ½ cup of red bell pepper
  • 2 cups mashed boiled potatoes
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • 4 tablespoons peas.

Method of preparation:

Start by preparing the dough for the spring packets. Put on your favorite kitchen apron and choose a roomy bowl. Put in it the cup of flour, but also the 3 tablespoons of cornstarch together with teaspoon of salt. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon. After the ingredients have become friendly, add a cup and a quarter of water. Use the wooden spoon again to homogenize the mixture. The composition should be similar to that of pancakes - you can fill it with more water if you feel the need.

To bake the dough for the spring packets you need a pancake pan. Heat the pan and grease it with a paper towel with a little oil. Put 2 tablespoons of the composition in the pan and bake like a pancake - as soon as it comes off the pan easily it is ready. It is not necessary to bake it on the other side as well. Remove the dough sheet on a plate and do the same until you have finished all the prepared composition. When you feel the need, grease the pan with a little more oil. Ready the composition? Leave the dough sheets for the packages to cool while you prepare the filling.

Heat a wok pan on the fire and heat the oil. Saute the cumin and garlic, then add all the raw vegetables, and after 3 minutes add all the other ingredients from the remaining list. Mix well a few times and then turn off the heat. Doesn't it already smell like spring?

Now it's time to assemble the spring packages. Depending on the dimensions you want the packages to have, you can leave the whole sheet of dough or you can cut it into 2 pieces. Place the vegetable filling, using a spoon, in the middle of the sheet of dough, then wrap and attach to the ends. Place the spring packets in a tray covered with baking paper and place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 ° Celsius.

Remove the packages after 10-12 minutes from the oven, they should be ready already, brown and inviting!

Serve the spring packets as such or with soy sauce, in the company of loved ones. Children will be especially pleased with this snack - enjoy!


This international dish is very easy to make in your own kitchen and does not require hard-to-buy ingredients. You do not need special cooking utensils, but only the desire for something good and the desire to experience new tastes with loved ones.

1. Marinate the chicken

  • cut 600 g of LaProvincia chicken breast in cubes of about 2-3 cm.
  • Put the chicken in a large bowl and add 6 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 tablespoon rice wine and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  • Mix well until everything is smooth.
  • Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the vegetables

  • Wash and cut into large pieces 1 yellow bell pepper, 1 medium carrot, 3-4 small bunches of broccoli and 4-5 mushroom mushrooms.
  • Finely chop 2 onions green and 4 cloves of garlic.

3. Mix all the ingredients

  • Put in a medium saucepan 2 tablespoons sunflower oil and when heated add the marinated chicken. Cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes, stirring constantly so that it does not stick and then take the chicken out on a plate.
  • Put the green onions, the chopped garlic in the pan in which you cooked the chicken and cook them for 1 minute.
  • Add the chopped vegetables and sauté in the pan for 3-4 minutes over high heat.
  • Boil in a separate bowl 1 pack of noodles (300 g) according to the instructions on the package.

4. Finish the preparation

  • Put the cooked chicken and boiled noodles in the pan with vegetables.
  • Add 2 tablespoons sesame oil and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
  • Keep on high heat and mix well for 2 minutes.
  • Serve the chicken with noodles and hot vegetables!
