I made this cake in a hurry, I chose the recipe knowing that it is made very quickly. I took the cake as a gift to some friends but I tasted it there and I can confirm that it turned out very good.

We need :

  • 4 eggs,
  • 150 grams of butter,
  • 150 grams of sugar,
  • 250 grams of flour,
  • 4 tablespoons milk / yogurt,
  • half an envelope of baking powder,
  • 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa,
  • 2 small rum essences from Dr. Otker.

For the glaze :

  • 200 grams of chocolate (I put 100 black and 100 white),
  • 2-3 tablespoons liquid cream,
  • a teaspoon of gloss oil.

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Check with rum and chocolate:

Preparation: mix eggs with sugar and melted butter, add flour mixed with baking powder, cocoa. Add the tablespoons of milk or yogurt and finally add the rum essence. The whole operation takes about 4-5 minutes. Pour the composition into a cake pan lined with butter and flour.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, I left the cake with a protective tray under its tray, 30 minutes at 180 degrees and another 10 minutes at 170 to be well baked, it is ready when it passes the toothpick test that comes out cleanse.

I poured over it the icing made simply by melting together the chocolate with the cream and the oil over a very low heat. I also put a central layer of almond powder for a line of decoration.

I let it cool well and cut in half it was ready to go. It is a light and fragrant cake perfect for a cup of coffee.
